  • Responsible for all areas relating to Corporate Planning, Business Development and Treasury functions of the Group
  • Identify new business opportunities & business coordination with 3rd party
  • Strategise and execute the corporate and business development strategy
  • Organise and facilitate the relationships with stakeholders related to new and on-going projects
  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the corporate planning and business development department
  • Prepare management and board papers for all the above

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Business Administration or professional qualifications from recognized university/institution.
  • MBA and Professional qualifications in related field (e.g. ACCA, CFA) will be an added advantage


  • More than 7 years working experience in corporate planning/ business administration/ finance/ accounting/ auditing
  • Have experience and in-depth knowledge in related key industries, consultancy work, project management, advisory, corporate planning and has good appreciation of economics
  • Exceptional communication and documentation (fluent written and spoken English) with computer
  • Experienced in leading teams on projects
  • Proven track record on delivering big projects and results
  • Experienced in managing stakeholders and senior civil service officers

  • Build a sustainable network in Medical Sciences and Biotechnology market
  • Be the consultant-in-charge of Medical Sciences and Biotechnology market by acquiring new clients and managing existing clients for UPMH’s consultancy-arm
  • Work closely with UPM researchers and/or subject matter expert on the deliverables of various projects with various clients
  • Drive tender and/or proposal preparation with other researchers and lead commercial discussion/negotiation
  • Active participation and continuous engagement with Medical Sciences and Biotechnology ecosystem
  • Conduct campaigns, marketing strategy and sales enablement programs based on market research and in-depth knowledge of service industry
  • Establish partnership with other consulting firms (mainly commercial and advisory firms) and work closely with their consulting project on technical part such as research and development, technical due diligence etc
  • Keep abreast of the industry landscape and players
  • Client coverage that include local and international companies or Government Agencies


  • Bachelor Degree in Medical Science /Biomedical /Marketing / Business Administration or professional qualifications from recognized university/institution

  • Experiences in Medical Sciences and Biotechnology industry for at least seven (7) years with proven successful track record
  • Experiences from consulting firm is an added advantage
